This has been another year of growth and we have stepped up to meet the needs of both new and long-time woodland owners with more programming and opportunities to learn. Add to that, it was the 48th year publishing our 20-page monthly publication and we served as the “go-to” organization for all things forest carbon, Tree Growth Tax Law, and Sunday hunting. We play an essential role to your woodland ownership experience.
We are now looking ahead to 2024 and how we will continue to serve the interests of Maine'‘s forest resources through supporting woodland owners. But none of this can happen without your help! Meeting our annual financial goal provides us the resources we need to remain forward thinking and stay as committed as ever to address these important developments.

Maine Woodland Owners Budget
Maine Woodland Owners is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Black knit hat with the Maine Woodland Owners logo, fleece-lined, 100% acrylic with 100% polyester fleece lining.
Maine Woodland Owners Two-Toned Bag
This bag is 14”H x 17”W x 5”D, 600D polyester, dual 25” handles, zippered main compartment, front slip pocket, two pen pockets and one card pocket in front panel, and a left side mesh pocket, and right side slip pocket.

Forest Trees of Maine
This is the go-to tree identification book for the Maine Forest Service and contains information on 78 different tree species, including all of Maine’s commercially important native tree species. It has hand wire binding and color illustrations throughout.

Personalized Pocket Buck Knife
This is a favorite knife of woodland owner. It has a blade length of 2-3/4” and made out of stainless steel. Closed, the knife is 3-3/4” and weighs 3 ounces. The handle is made with Dymalux red wood and comes with a leather sheath and in a box. The knife will be personalized with an engraving of your choice on the handle.
