Benefits of Membership
Membership fees make up a significant portion of our revenue budget and is the most reliable form of financial support that we receive. In return, members get the following:
Newsletter: You’ll receive our 20-page monthly newsletter (click HERE to see a sample edition) filled with highly informative articles on a wide range of topics focused on the health, stewardship, history, economics, latest news, and wildlife of forestland in Maine. In 2020 members will have have access to past editions of the newsletter where they will be able to search for particular topics of interest
Expertise: You’ll have direct access to our professional staff who are ready to help with your forest stewardship and management needs
Representation: We are your voice before the legislature and government agencies on issues important to woodland owners and forest stewards.
Events: You’ll be notified about workshops we sponsor in your area and through out the state during the year, including, chapter events and the Annual Meeting.
Members Page: If you are a current member you have access to our Members Page containing resources not available to the general public. Included on this page is our newsletter archive, occasional product discounts, and videos.
Business Members Page: Your business will be listed on our Business Member page and the page will be promoted so we can thank the businesses who support us.
