Maine Woodland Owners has conserved 11,183 acres of forested land - 7,629 acres owned outright and 3,625 acres in conservation easements - in over 52 communities.  Our land conservation efforts have conserved land in 10% of all Maine communities. Use Policy:

When visiting our properties we ask that the public treat them with respect. Allowed uses include hiking, hunting, nature walks, and winter sports activities. And while our lands are open for hunting, except for the Georgia Fuller Wiesendanger Wildlife Protection Area, we do not allow game cameras or tree stands. In addition, , campfires, or overnight camping are not allowed. All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) and snowmobiles, if not specifically allowed, are prohibited. Nothing, except for wildlife, should be taken off of the property. We ask that you carry out what you carry in and leave the property as you found it.
